WILMINGTON — A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Wilmington gang member, wanted in connection with kidnapping, assaulting and robbing two college students at gunpoint.
Titus Nafis Lee, 19, of Litchfield Way in Wilmington, is wanted charges of two counts of first-degree kidnapping and two counts of first-degree rape, according to police spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, Lindsay said. Citizens should not approach Lee, but police are asking citizens to contact authorities immediately, if he is seen.
Lee has been charged with the sexual assault and kidnapping of a male and female college student at an apartment on Litchfield Way in the Cape Cottages apartments on Nov. 22.
The suspect reportedly assaulted the students in the off-campus apartment, forced them in their vehicle to obtain cash from an ATM, and then picked up another white female suspect before returning to the apartment to assault them again and rob the students of household property.
Police have captured a white female — 27-year-old Treddia Marie Sullivan – and charged her with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of first-degree kidnapping. She was booked at the New Hanover County Jail under a $300,000 secured bond.
Lee is a 6-foot tall black male with a thin build. He was last known to have a goatee and shoulder-length dreadlocks. He has a tattoo of skull and dice on his outside left forearm and a tattoo of “Tiki” on his neck. Lee currently has stitches in his right index finger.
Lee has previous charges from assault with a deadly weapon an discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.
