WILMINGTON — Carol Adele Palmeri, 74, beloved wife of Thomas Palmeri, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016.
She was born in Hartford, Conn., Oct. 20, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Harriet Burgess Kalish (Kalisz). Carol had been a Wilmington resident for many years and worked as a practice manager for a local physicians group. Carol also had a successful career as a leasing agent for Bell Partners Inc., achieving the status of member of the Million Dollar Club. She retired in 2015 and enjoyed her free time visiting with family members, bird watching, and crocheting blankets for all of her friends.
In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Adele Stockton; granddaughter, Hannah Adele Stockton; sister, Louise Cahen; nieces, Deann Turney, and her husband, Levi, Valerie Nelson, and her husband, Cliff, and Patti Gosselin; nephew, David Cahen; and grand-nieces, and grand-nephews, Heidi, Laura, Todd, Dominick and Knox.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
