Entry deadline approaching for Wilmington’s annual holiday parade

WILMINGTON — Interested in being a part of a parade?

The City of Wilmington is currently looking for community groups, school organizations, bands and businesses to join the annual holiday parade in downtown Wilmington.

The parade begins at 4:55 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.

The event is free and open to the public. The parade starts at the corner of North Front and Walnut streets, travels south on Front Street and continues onto Church Street. See the full parade route map online.

Those interested in being a part of the parade must fill out the city’s entry form to participate. The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15.
