WILMINGTON — Kevin Wayne Brinkley died peacefully on Sept. 29, 2016, at the age of 32. Kevin was born on Feb. 19, 1984.
He enjoyed playing all sports, including ice hockey. He loved spending time with friends and family. He attended Smith High School, graduated from Britain Academy, and attended Barton College.
Anyone who met him was immediately aware of his entrepreneurial spirit. His exceptional talent and charisma were evident each time he met someone new. These qualities served him well as he was a very successful business owner of a full-service pressure washing and window cleaning company, The Cleaning Dude. He was married to Kate in 2012 and was thrilled to become a father to Hannah Kathryn in 2013.
He is preceded in death by his father Steve. He is survived by his daughter Hannah, his mother Pat, and his brother Steve (Tina), as well as nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. His spirit, energy, and personality will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to benefit Hannah’s future. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. at the Greensboro Aboretum.
