WILMINGTON – A man was arrested in charged with the death of 34-year-old Antwyn Curtis Beatty.
Sebastian Gerard Kirby Robinson, 24, was booked Wednesday at the New Hanover County jail on charges of first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Robinson is charged death of Beatty who was found shot and lying in the grass in the 200 block of North 13th Street on Sept. 23, according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay.
Two women – 20-year-old Cerrica Jackson and 24-year-old Kalissa Durant – were arrested shortly after the Friday evening shooting, and faced the same charges in connection with Beatty’s murder during a court hearing three days later. Durant and Jackson remain at the New Hanover County jail without bonds.
Robinson is also facing pending charges in Pender County District Court, including felony possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises and misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections, he was previously convicted of three felonies, including possession of a schedule I controlled substance (two counts in January 2014) and a post release revocation (December 2014).
Robinson was booked at the New Hanover County Jail without bond.
