Mrs. Davis is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Norman Davis Jr. of the home; son, Jerry Davis and wife, Billie Jo, of Wallace; daughter, Tonyia Davis of Kenansville; grandchildren, Austin Davis, Samantha Davis, Jessica Brown, Jerry Davis Jr., Zoie Bostic, Jake Bostic and Shaun Carlton; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Allen Batts of Wallace and Marty Batts and wife, Linda, of Willard; very best friend, Kim Widener of Delaware; and numerous family and friends that loved her dearly.
She was a loving wife and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She found great joy in the simplest of things, but her greatest joy was family. She especially loved her children and was very proud of each of them. With a love for people and a heart full of compassion, she was always willing to help others in need.
Before the years of paid EMT’s, she faithfully served over 25 years in Duplin County as an Emergency Medical Technician. She was very devoted to EMS, did not take it lightly and enjoyed helping those in need of medical attention.
She was a friend to all, a strong yet gentle and loving presence to all who were blessed to know her. She will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
