Carl Douglas Rogers, 66, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
Carl was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on March 4, 1950, the son of Buck Rogers and the late Verilda Lawrence Rogers, and had worked as a Hammerman for Canton Drop Forge until his retirement. A really talented bricklayer and mason, he also was the proprietor of AAA Free Flow and Drain. He was an avid movie buff and was active in Haven Ministries managing the coffee shop.
Besides his father Buck, and step-mother Sally, Carl is survived by his daughter, Lisa Tartaglione and her husband Gino; his son Scott Rogers and wife Jennifer; brother Lawrence; his companion and best friend Cathy Rogers; step-sisters Beth Stanley and husband James and Diane Wilson and husband Tom; his step-brothers, Steve Dudich and Mike Dudich and his partner; his six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
