Aline Nobles Hagain, 94, of Wilmington, passed away early Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice. She was born in Cerro Gordo on September 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Worth and Ruby Nance Nobles.
Mrs. Hagain was a member of Pine Valley Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Hagain; three sisters, Lela Warson, Lois Tedder and Betty Kermon; one brother, J.C. Nobles; and granddaughter, Jennifer Hagain.
Survivors include her son, Dan Hagain, and his wife, Karen; daughter, Mary Lee Coombs; three grandchildren, Mark Coombs, Cynthia Hagain and Chris Coombs; three great-grandchildren, Kristin Coombs, Gavin Coombs and Gage Coombs; and two sisters, Shirley Grainger and Daisy Johnston.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.
