Brenda Lee Noble Roebuck, 54, ‘her home was always open and she made everyone feel welcome’

Brenda Lee Noble Roebuck, 54, passed away peacefully at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter. She was born August 10, 1961, in Easton, Pa.

Brenda was always bright, cheerful and loving to all who knew her. She loved the beach, music, dancing and camping in the mountains. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends over anything else. Her home was always open and she made everyone feel welcome. The memories that she has etched into our lives will forever bring rainbows, smiles and laughter.

She is preceded in death by her fiancé, Stuart Norman Short.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Schuler, and stepfather, Matthias Schuler; daughter, Rhonda Roebuck Howard, and her fiancé, Russell Benson; son, John ‘Jack’ Roebuck III; and former husband, John ‘Johnny’ Roebuck Jr. of Wilmington, who remained a very supportive friend of hers; three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Blayden and Roxanne Howard; sister, Terri Moulthrop; brothers, Keith Noble and Matty Schuler, all of Pennsylvania; two nieces and three nephews; extended family that consists of Elaine Espeland, John Roebuck Sr., Daniel and Derek Roebuck and JoDee Roebuck Geriyak; and four nephews and one niece, who all reside in California.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S. 41st St., Wilmington.
