George Carl ‘Ozzie’ Flor, 48, of Shallotte, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 23, 1967, in Trenton, N.J., the son of George Albin ‘Papa George’ Flor and the late Beulah Lee Hewett Flor.

Ozzie loved life to the fullest, loved his music and his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his children, Jordan Flor and Jeremy Flor, both of Supply, Michael Flor of Shallotte and Japheth Hester of Supply; a brother, the Rev. Maurice Milligan, and wife, Margie, of Shallotte; two sisters, Millie Tripp of Shallotte and Mickey Chadwick of Merritt Island, Fla.; and one grandchild, Jeremiah Jasper Flor.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Shallotte Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will be held after the celebration of life at Papa George’s residence.
