Terri Lee Kaulfers, 54, active in fundraising efforts for the Bowlers Veteran Links and Bowl for a Cure

Terri Lee Kaulfers, 54, of Shallotte, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Terri was born on September 29, 1961, in Westwood, N.J., a daughter of the late William ‘Billy’ and Joan Hersey Kaulfers.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, she was a past member of the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Dumont Drum-Bugle Corps. Also, she was a past director of the Grand Strand USBCA, secretary of Mama’s Nite Out-Grand Strand Doubles at Little River Lanes and was active in fundraising efforts for the Bowlers Veteran Links and Bowl for a Cure.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, T.J. Kaulfers.

Surviving are many friends in Horry and Brunswick County.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bowlers Veteran Links, 11350 Random Hills Road, Suite 800, Fairfax, VA 22030; Bowl for a Cure, USBC Headquarters, 621 Six Flags Drive, Arlington, TX 76011; or a charity of one’s choice.
