John Thomas Gunning, 76, retired from Xerox Corporation

John Thomas Gunning, 76, of St. James Plantation, died Thursday, May 5, 2016. He was born October 7, 1939, in Pottsville, Pa., the son of B. Nelson and Helen Gunning. Mr. Gunning was a longtime employee of Xerox Corporation in Rochester, N.Y., and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Bettilee Gunning; two daughters Elizabeth Brillian and Caroline Horsford (Carl); son, John Thomas Gunning Jr. (Mandy Bunte); grandchildren, Kelsey Brillian, Colin Brillian, Amelia Horsford, Gabriel Horsford, Mardi Gunning, Nora Gunning and Mollie Gunning; and sister, June D. Bona.

The celebration of life for Tom will be held Monday, May 9, at 1 p.m. at Members Club, St. James Plantation.
