Bryan Prentice Williams, 47, of Wilmington, died Monday, April 25, 2016. Bryan took his own life after suffering from major depressive disorder for more than a decade.
Born in Raleigh on June 29, 1968, Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Cole Williams of Carolina Beach.
He is survived by two brothers and their wives, Matthew Cole Williams, and his wife, Courtney, of Clayton and Herman Page Williams, and his wife, Lori, of Wilmington; aunts, Harriet Guyton of Southport, Pat Bedsole of Raleigh, and Mary Page, and her husband, Gerard Slovak, of Bunnell, Fla.; uncles, Robert Cole of Carolina Beach and Warren Williams, and his wife, Kay, of Raleigh; niece, Taylor Williams Bunn, and her husband, Matthew, of Kenly; and many beloved cousins and friends throughout the country.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Andrews Mortuary, Market Street Chapel, 1617 Market St., Wilmington. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
