Earlier this week, Country Club of Landfall Head Professional Golfer’s Association professional Sara Bush was featured in a national spotlight that aired on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive.
The four-minute piece highlighted her involvement in the growing Drive, Chip & Putt competition within the Carolinas PGA section. The Carolinas PGA section hosts 14 Drive, Chip & Putt qualifying events between June and August, with thousands of boys and girls ages 7-15 participating and more than 100 Carolinas PGA professionals and Apprentices volunteering their time for these events.
This week’s showcase in Wilmington focused on Bush’s work leading up to the Drive, Chip & Putt qualifier at her club. Her creativity over the past two years has grown the event from approximately 150 participants in 2014 to over 200 last year. This year’s Country Club of Landfall qualifier is set for July 7.
