Judith Galletto, 72, of Supply and formerly of Islip, N.Y., died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 14, 1944, in Bayshore, N.Y., a daughter of the late Frank and Carolyn Rutt Kotasek.

She was the founder of Kathy’s Angels, who make handmade quilts for terminally ill patients. She was also a member of the Lockwood Folly Ladies Association and Golf Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Van Gorden and Carolyn Vignola.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Robert Galletto; two sons, Robert Galletto Jr., and his wife, Susanne, of Lake Park and Benjamin Galletto of Supply; and daughter, Theresa Galletto of Supply.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, at Brunswick Funeral Service. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, at St. Brendans Catholic Church.
