Detectives with the Carolina Beach Police Department have arrested a man and teen in connection with an armed robbery in the town on Wednesday.
Two suspects entered the home of a 63-year-old man in the 800 block of Old Dow Road at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, and robbed the victim gunpoint, according to Carolina Beach Police Detective Scott Hettinger. The man was not injured during the robbery. The suspects took cash, a cell phone and a wallet from the victim’s home.

The two suspects face felony charges in connection with the Wednesday night armed robbery, Hettinger said. The suspects were booked at the New Hanover County Jail on Thursday.
Fought was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary. Markley was charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Fought and Markley were each booked in jail under $250,000 secured bonds.
