Nick Feight doubled twice, homered and drove in four runs as UNCW raced past Campbell 11-4 on Wednesday at Jim Perry Stadium in Buies Creek.
UNCW picked up its first road win of the season and improved to 16-9. The Camels, meanwhile, saw their record drop to 16-15.
Whitman Barnes (1-0) picked up the win in relief, striking out two in 1.1 innings. Campbell starter Wes Noble (1-1) struck out five, but allowed three runs over his five innings of work.
Campbell narrowed its deficit to 3-2 in the fifth, but the Seahawks answered with three runs in the top of the sixth. Feight doubled in a run and Golden plated Feight with a homer to left one batter later for a 6-2 lead.
Joining Feight with big nights at the plate were Brian Mims and Robbie Thorburn with three hits apiece. Mims and Thorburn both scored twice and drove in one. Casey Golden connected on a two-run home run, his second of the season.
The Seahawks close out their road stretch with three games at William & Mary, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday.
