He is survived by his mother, Elvia Mintz Harrelson; devoted and loving wife, Vickie Lewis Harrelson; his children, William (Hope), Buren and Deanna Harrelson Matthews (Joe); seven grandchildren, William Charles, Erika Cheyenne, Nathan Garrett, Isabella Heleigh Harrelson, Dakota Ryan Lewis, Joseph Harold III (Joey) and Jenna-Ann Love Matthews; brothers, Homer, Coolidge and Eddie Harrelson; sisters, Joyce Peterson (D.J.) and Audrey Grice (Phil); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that he dearly loved.

Lawrence had been employed with International Paper in Riegelwood for 40 years. He had 17 days left before he was to retire. His plans were for he and his wife, Vickie, to work together, side by side, on their farm. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all the coworkers who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 11, at Andrews Mortuary. A funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Union Grove PFWB Church, Delco. The family ask, in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation in Lawrence’s name to fulfill his dream of building Buren a home on the farm.
