Robert ‘Bobby’ Segda III, 26, of Wilmington, died Sunday, February 28, 2016. He was born in Hartford, Conn., March 31, 1989.
Bobby had an outgoing personality and brought a smile to everyone who knew him. He worked as a trim carpenter with his father’s business, BTB Carpentry. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, working out, singing karaoke and spending time with his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert F. Segda Sr.
Survivors include his father, Robert F. Segda Jr. and wife Kathy of Wilmington; mother, Wendy Tine and husband Duane of East Hampton, Conn.; siblings, Brenda and Renee Segda of Wilmington and Karla Segda and Bryden Tine of East Hampton, Conn.; son, Connor Corcoran; grandparents, Jane and Art Guardo, Gerald and Sandy Hackett and George and Shirley Mailloux; as well as many extended family members.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Andrews Valley Chapel. A memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the benefit of Bobby’s son, Connor Corcoran, c/o BB&T, 7 N. Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach, NC 28428.
