Marc Luther Brown, age 43, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016. He was born on March 14, 1972, in Asheville. Marc was a property manager at America’s Best Value Motel on Market Street. He was formerly a heavy equipment operator. Marc enjoyed working and helping other people and was a member of Haw Bluff Hunting Club.
Marc is survived by his father and mother, Luther G. Brown and Pat Burton Brown; aunt and uncle Carolyn and Norris Flowers, and their sons, Sammy and Hyman Flowers; uncle W.E. Burton, and his sons, Randy and Eric Burton; uncle Mike Burton; aunt Sandra Burton, and her daughter, Tammie and children; cousin Ray Burton and girls; cousin Scott Cottle and family; special friends Bobby Tyson, Troy and Roy Hadley and Annette Cobb.
Memorial services will be held at 4. pm. Sunday, February 21, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Sam Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriner Hospitals for Children.
