A man and woman were arrested after an armed robbery at a Han-Dee Hugo gas station.
The victim was robbed at gunpoint while pumping gas at the station located at 425 N. College Road at about 8:40 p.m. Saturday, according to Wilmington Police Department Cpl. Leslie Irving.
The male victim reported that an older model black truck pulled up behind him, Irving said. The male suspect in the vehicle pulled out a handgun while the female suspect woman went inside the victim’s vehicle and took cash. The suspects then fled south on North College Road in the truck.
After an investigation, the suspects, 28-year-old Amanda Konczynski and 34-year-old Scott Davis, were later arrested at a home in the 100 block of Crestwood Drive in Wilmington. They were each charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to jail records.
Davis was booked at the New Hanover County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond. Konczynski was booked under a $15,000 secured bond.
