Harry H. Aylor, Jr., 78, of Southport died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick

Harry was born on February 20, 1937 in Culpeper, Virginia. He attended Randolph-Macon Military Academy in Front Royal, Virginia and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. As a civil engineer Harry’s employment allowed him to travel in many countries. In 1999 he retired to Southport.

He is survived by his wife Mary of 51 years and his “little white dog.”

A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice: SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
