Banks came off the bench to make 5 of 8 field goal attempts and all three of her free throw attempts, while posting her first career double-digit scoring effort. She was one of three UNCW players to score in double figures as junior guard Naqaiyyah Teague added 13 points, while junior guard Amber Reevers matched her season high with 10 points.

After falling behind by a 20-19 margin in the opening quarter, the Seahawks held Norfolk State to just 3-for-13 shooting from the field in the second stanza to build a 38-32 advantage they did not relinquish. Teague led the Seahawks’ second quarter efforts by scoring six points.
