Cameron Art Museum is paying tribute to area service men and women with a special exhibition on Veterans Day.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, the museum will unveil its Honor Tree in recognition of military personnel. CAM will also offer free admission to military members and their families to enjoy all of the exhibitions.
Anyone attending the museum on Veterans Day is encouraged to take a star and write a sentiment or memory to be placed on the tree. It will remain on display in the museum during the upcoming holiday festival of bread, lights, gingerbread and lanterns, which runs Nov. 21 through Dec. 6.
The Honor Tree was made possible in collaboration with the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 11 in Wilmington.
Cameron Art Museum, 3201 S. 17th St., will be open on Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
