Brian Craig Moeri, 60, remembered as an optimist who always said ‘yes’

Brian Craig Moeri, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at his residence. He was 60.

Born Sept. 9, 1955, in Johannesburg, South Africa, he was the son of the late George E. and Roma M. Austin Moeri.

He served with the U.S. Air Force in Korea, Japan and the Philippines. Brian was a great husband and father and loved his family dearly. He is remembered as an optimist who always said “yes” and always put others needs above his own. He had a love for Star Wars and train sets. He was a registered nurse who was respected and loved by his patients and colleagues.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 24 years, Mary Ruth A. Moeri; daughter, Katie Moeri; and brothers, Paul, Tom and George Moeri.

A memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Willie ‘Pops’ Stargell Dialysis Center through NHRMC Foundation.
