Police: Man with pepper spray robs narcotics from CVS Pharmacy

Wilmington police are investigating an armed robbery at a drug store early Tuesday morning.

An employee at the CVS Pharmacy, 2302 South 17th Street, just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, to report that a man had robbed the pharmacy, according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay.

“The suspect appeared to be carrying a can of pepper spray,” Lindsay said.

The man demanded narcotics from the pharmacy and left the store headed west. The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s. He wore a white long sleeve shirt, black pants, gloves and something over his head.
