William L. ‘Larry’ Warren, 71, fisherman and shrimper known as a ‘Jack-of-all-trades’

William L. “Larry” Warren, of Hampstead, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at the age of 71.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Warren; brother, Richard F. Warren; stepson, Andy Mintz; brother-in-law, James F. Avant (Jimmy); and daughter-in-law, Pamela Mintz Barnhill.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. Warren; son, Christopher B. Warren and wife, Stacie Stewart Warren; sister, Linda Warren Avant; sister-in-law, Ann Wilson Warren; stepson, Craig Mintz; grandchildren, Kaylee and Rylie Warren, Aaron, Ashlynn and Cody Mintz and Morgan and Tavin Price; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Meares; niece, Tracy Jones and husband, Chris; and great-nieces, Abigail and Allison Jones.

Larry was an avid fisherman and shrimper. He was a home builder and Jack-of-all-trades, and was a great guy. He loved adopting stray pets and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the home of David and Judy Anderson.
