Jack Arthur Braak, 72, inducted into the high school Baseball Hall of Fame Team

Jack Arthur Braak, of Bolivia, died at his home on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at the age of 72.

He was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Grand Haven, Michigan, son of the late Albert and Kathryn (Ruiter) Braak.

He married Judith O’Berry on July 25, 1969. He will be sadly missed by his wife; brother, Ron Braak and wife, Dorah Louise; sister, Joyce (Braak) Overway and husband, Roy; sister-in-law, Rita (Hofmann) O’Berry; and nieces and nephews, Betsy O’Berry and Jeff Menth, Patrick and Courtney O’Berry, Bonnie and Kent Suchecki, Barb and Gregg Lovell, Cheryl and Mike Payne, Bari and Greg DeWitt, Dan and Debbie Braak and Jeff and Debbie Braak.

Jack always loved all sports. In high school he played football, basketball and was part of the Baseball Hall of Fame Team. He graduated from Ferris State University and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He worked for Burlington Industries in several states and Ireland.

Memorial services will be held in Grand Haven, Michigan at a later date.
