Jordan Taylor Cole, 21, and infant child, Avery Cole, of Shallotte, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Wilmington on March 29, 1994, the daughter of Gene Evans Jr. and Jamie Evans of Shallotte.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Jack Stanford Cole Jr., of the home; brother, Trey Evans; sisters, Casey Child and husband Joshua, Mariah Evans, Alexa Clemmons and husband Nicky, Riley Evans, Zoe Evans and Mary Grace Evans, all of Shallotte; maternal grandparents, Roger and Mary Simmons, of Supply; paternal grandparents, Gene and Gracie Evans, of Shallotte; maternal great-grandfather, Trubie Hewett, of Supply; great-grandmother, Ella Milliken; nieces, Bella Child, Julia Rose Child and Ava Clemmons; and nephew, Brantley “Brantley Bear” Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Landis Lancaster. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Williams, Joshua Child, Nicky Clemmons, Ronald Carter, Arron Harden and Owen McDowell.
