Donald Eric Parker, beloved son, husband, daddy, brother and friend, has left this earth too soon. On Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, Don went home to join his infant son and dad in heaven. He was 45.

Don was currently serving his country in the U.S. Army. He served with honor, dignity and valor. He was a faithful member of Clinton Community Church.

Don was born Sept. 15, 1970, in Wilmington, the son of Clara Willetts Parker and the late Donald Lee Parker. Also remembered are his infant son, Christian Benson Parker and brother, Daniel Lee Parker, both of whom preceded Don in death.

In addition to his mother Don is survived by his wife of 19 years, Robyn Benson Parker; son, Donald Eric Parker II (Kara Grace Parker); sisters, Lisa Grant (Terry), Teresa Spivey (Jerry) and Cheryl Hendrix (Mark); brother, James Robbins (Tonya); and many nieces, nephews and extended family who adored Don.
