Catherine Doris Seward Wunderlich, of Wilmington and formerly of Short Hills and Chadwick Beach, New Jersey and Palm City, Florida, died Aug. 31, 2015, at the age of 92.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; parents, John and Mary (Maier) Seward; and sisters, Margaret Bancroft and Marie Woods.

Catherine graduated at the age of 16 as a star student from Irvington High School. She retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone Company and then became a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
