Rosemary Janicki, of Wilmington, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. She was 84.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1930, in Passaic, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Frank John Danko and Valeria Pauline Rutkowski Danko. Also remembered are her beloved husband of 60 years, Ernest Michael Janicki and son, Danny Janicki, both of whom preceded her in death.

Rosemary was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She was a published poet and enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are her children, John Michael Janicki and wife Carolyn, Sherri Murray, Greg Janicki and wife Tracy, Michelle Janicki, Patricia Clements and Allison Janicki; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Danko and Loretta Danko Meyers; and brother, Vincent Danko.

Services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
