A Wilmington man was killed in a motorcycle wreck Monday morning.
Tramyne Antonio Brown, 25, was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in the 3300 block of River Road just before 7 a.m. Monday, according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay.
Brown was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle headed south on River Road, when he reportedly lost control of the motorcycle and struck railroad tracks, Lindsay said.
“Police believe Mr. Brown was operating his Kawasaki motorcycle at a very high rate of speed,” Lindsay said.
Brown was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries. No other people were involved in the wreck.
