The speedster scored four touchdowns in the ballgame as the Bucs had a tough time containing one of the top recruits in the area. Laney also had trouble moving the ball early and Wallace-Rose Hill capitalized by converting on a fourth down screen pass for 26 yards to bring up a first-and-goal. Desmond Newkirk carried it in on for a four-yard run to give the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead with 5:12 left in the first quarter.

Following a three-and-out for the Bucs, Gillaspie took it deep into Laney territory and on 3rd and 10, the senior running back rumbled in from three yards out to make it 14-0 late in the opening frame.

The Bucs were able to get the offense going on the next possession thanks to the efforts of Travone Greene and Imeek Watkins to move into Bulldogs territory, but a missed 41-yard field goal attempt turned into an 82-yard touchdown run by Gillaspie on the ensuing play.

Jhonta Wilson made 28-0 late in the second quarter and Wallace-Rose Hill took the opening possession of the second half into the end zone as Keyshawn Canady scored from 18 yards out to put the game out of reach before Gillaspie put in his fourth touchdown on a 14-yard run.

Imeek Watkins put Laney on the board with a two-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter and Jamius Beckett scored from 57 yards out to end the scoring.

The Bucs (0-1) look to bounce back against at home against J.H. Rose on Friday, Aug. 28.
