Tracy Donald Faircloth, 73, 28-year National Guard Armory officer in charge

Tracy Donald Faircloth, formerly of Ocean Isle Beach, died Aug. 17, 2015, in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was 73.

He was born in Robeson County on July 11, 1942, a son of Claude Knight Faircloth and Sally Mae Holmes Faircloth. He retired after 28 years as officer in charge at a National Guard Armory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Faircloth and his granddaughter, Jennifer Bishop.

Surviving are his daughters, Tracey Justus and her husband, David, of Charlottesville, Virginia and Melody Smith and her husband, Calvin, of Lake City, South Carolina; grandchildren, Brandon Justus, Mason Justus, Michele Carpenter Falcon and Cody Smith; and great-grandchildren, Cameron West, Sadie Falcon and Isaac Bishop.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Brunswick Funeral Service, conducted by the Rev. Michael Bishop, with interment at Brunswick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
