Good Shepherd Center seeking school supplies

The Good Shepherd Center is seeking donations to help prepare kids at the home for the upcoming school year.

Four children at the home are in need of school supplies, according to a release from the Good Shepherd Center. While supplies have been donated, some items are still needed.

Backpacks, yellow highlighters, pencil boxes, color pencils, washable markers, glue sticks, folders, calculators, and staplers are all items left on the supplies list, according to the Good Shepherd Center’s Facebook page.

The Good Shepherd Center’s mission is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and foster transition to housing, according to its website.

The center, located at 811 Martin Street in Wilmington, is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information contact the Good Shepherd Center at (910) 763-4424 or visit the center’s website.
