Ronald Nash King, of Rocky Point, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, surrounded by family and close friends. He was 72.

He was born Nov. 26, 1942, in Wilmington, son of the late Luther King and Susan Watter King.

Ronald was a skilled cabinet maker and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his son, Andy King and his wife Cheryl; daughter, Debbie King; grandchildren, Andrew, Ronnie, Mason and Melody; sister, Jerry Gurganous; and his beloved dog, Peeches.

The family received visitors Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, at 14060 Ashton Road, Rocky Point, NC 28457.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to: NC Wildlife Resources Commission, 1751 Varsity Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606.
