The ballots are set as candidate filing has closed for November’s municipal elections.

Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo will run unopposed for another four-year term. Over on Pleasure Island, former Carolina Beach Mayor Bob Lewis will challenge Mayor Dan Wilcox and Emilie Swearingen will challenge Dean Lambeth in Kure Beach.
