Peggy Anne Futch, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the age of 73.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas H. and Edna Hill Rackley and sister, Jeanette Bradshaw.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Clarence D. Futch, of the home; daughter, Pamela Futch Tryer (Jimmy Polley); son, David Futch (Amy McGraw); grandchildren, Megan and Zachary Tryer and Kaitlin Futch; sisters, Frances Balance (Doug), Faye Jones and Wanda Padgett (Gene); brother, Tommy Rackley (Susan); and nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church, was a homemaker and stayed home to take care of her grandchildren. Peggy had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. She never met a stranger.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the staff of Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
