Drivers on Market Street in the Forest Hills area might just see an unusual sight Tuesday–a man being thrown from a window of The Carolinian Inn.
Not to worry–the rather rude expulsion is just part of ongoing filming for season three of CBS’ hit show, “Under the Dome.”
According to a film permit filed with the City of Wilmington, “Under the Dome” cast and crew will be onsite at The Carolinian, 2916 Market St., beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday to shoot outdoor stunt scenes. They’ll wrap filming at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The permit notes that a stunt man will be thrown through a stunt window staged at the local hotel.
Three police officers will be on hand to assist with intermittent traffic control along Wayne Drive between Wakefield Avenue and Market.
“Under the Dome” has been busy shooting its third season, which premiered with a two-hour episode last month. The show recently shot dialogue scenes at the lake in Autumn Hall off Eastwood Road and in the 600 block of Grace Street.
