Ann Catherine Wagner, of Wilmington, died July 4, 2015, at the age of 76.
She was born in Canton, Illinois, on Dec. 2, 1938, daughter of the late Russell and Stella Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mark Wagner.
Ann was a member of the Red Hat Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Scene III. She enjoyed golfing and sailing with her husband, Jim. Ann graduated from St. John’s College School of Nursing in Springfield, Illinois, in 1960. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years, including at Divine Providence in Pittsburgh and Laurel Crest Rehab & Special Care Center in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania.
Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Wagner, of Wilmington; son, David Wagner and his family, of Pittsburgh; and daughter, Amy Wagner, of Oakland, California.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father John McGee officiating.
