Marialice S. Amos, of Wilmington, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was 89.
She was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Deerfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert M. and Florence M. (Hudson) Sutcliffe.
Marialice was a resident of Ohio for most of her life until she moved to North Carolina in 1988.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Amos, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; daughter, Gloria Boyles (Fred), of Wilmington; son, Ric Amos (Cathy), of Wilmington; grandson, Raymond Boyles (fiance, Carla and her children, Haleigh and Bella) and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kyla; grandson, Ronald Boyles (Nicole) and great-grandchildren, Austin and Nikki; granddaughter, Mandi Harris (Clint) and great-grandson, Chase; and granddaughter, Rikki Bellamy (Dre) and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Donovan, Evin and Jada.
In addition to her parents, Marialice was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Amos; brothers, Jim and Bob Sutcliffe; and sister, Dee Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
