Another winning lottery ticket has been sold in Brunswick County.
A Carolina Cash 5 ticket that hit the $227,196 jackpot on July 2 was sold at the Middle River C Store on Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia, according to a press release from the N.C. Education Lottery. The winner of the ticket with the winning numbers–1-16-19-36-38–has 180 days to claim the winnings at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
A $250,000 lottery ticket was sold in Brunswick County in March. In February, a single mother from Shallotte won more than $180 million in the Powerball drawing.
