Walkers, joggers and bikers of the Cross City Trail may be delayed along their routes Tuesday due to filming for the CBS series, “Under the Dome.”

According to a permit filed with the City of Wilmington, the locally filmed television show will be shooting at the lake in Autumn Hall, 1202 Eastwood Road, from 7 to 10 a.m. Tuesday.

But due to camera placement–for dialogue scenes between two actors on the lake’s dock–portions of the adjacent trail will be limited to users. Tuesday’s filming will not require any road closures, special effects or police presence.

Production crews will post signs at the Teal Street bridge and the trail head at Rogersville Road on Monday to alert users of the pedestrian control that will occur during filming.

“Under the Dome,” which had its two-hour premiere of season three on Thursday, June 25, has already wrapped on eight episodes.

The show most recently shot exterior dialogue scenes in the 600 block of Grace Street.
