Bradley Weeks, of Wilmington, died peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the age of 92.

Bradley was born April 16, 1923, in Jacksonboro, South Carolina, the son of the late Lawrence Elmore Weeks and Claudia Butler Weeks. His wife, Martha Vann Weeks, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death.

He was married to his sweetheart on Nov. 20, 1943. After serving in the U.S. Navy in WWII, he moved to Riegelwood and began working at Riegel Paper Board, where he worked for 37 years.

Bradley was a member of Riegelwood Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and deacon chairperson, for many years. He participated in many church building mission trips with his wife.

He is survived by his three children, Randy Weeks (Nancy), Cindy Weeks (Harold) and Mark Weeks (Connie); two brothers, Lloyd Weeks and Claude Weeks; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His children will remember him as a loving and patient man. One of his proudest accomplishments was seeing his wife and three children graduate from college.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Andrews Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Riegelwood Baptist Church with the Rev. John Porter and the Rev. Sam Hill officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Please leave online condolences for the family at Andrews Mortuary.
