Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the Oct. 23 ALO concert at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater.

The tour kicks off Oct. 7 in Brooklyn, New York, to coincide with the release of their “Tangle of Time” album release on Oct. 2.

Long acclaimed for their deft musicianship, potent songwriting, and astonishing on-stage interaction, the members of California quartet ALO have played together for more than two decades, according to a news release announcing the tour. Their pop ‘n roll sound blends fun thoughtful songcraft with danceable grooves, a mixture that always results in an unforgettable party.

After wrapping up their most recent Tour D’Amour this past February, the band hit Allegiant Records in Marin County, California, to record their first album since 2012’s Sounds Like This. The band is currently finishing mixes for their new record and will announce more details, and a pre-order campaign in just a few weeks.

“Despite a relatively light touring schedule in recent years, band members have not laid idle since the release of Sounds Like This,” the news release states. “Lead vocalist and keys/ukulele player Zach Gill toured the world with Jack Johnson; guitarist Dan Lebowitz has stayed busy playing shows with The Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh, and guitarist Steve Kimock; bassist Steve Adams has been touring and recording with Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers; and drummer Dave Brogan has been playing with Utah’s Mokie.

“ALO has been the quartet’s primary creative outlet since forming at UC Santa Barbara 20 years ago and it’s always just a matter of time before they reconvene in the studio and onstage, with their latest musical adventures bringing in a fresh perspective on their work together.”

Tickets can be purchased online at, at Gravity Records and at Momentum Surf and Skate.
