Fannie M. (Malanga) Bell, of Southport and formerly of Nutley, New Jersey, died Sunday June 14, 2015, at the age of 102.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, she lived in Nutley, New Jersey for many years before going to North Carolina in 2006. Mrs. Bell was legal secretary before retiring and was a member of the Nutley Golden Age Club and the Holy Family Church Rosary Altar Society.

Fannie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allan C. Bell; a great-grandchild; her sister, Concetta Seria; her brother, Gerard Malanga; and her sister, Christine Masi Cerami.

She is survived by her devoted children, her daughter, Celeste Liola, of Southport; her sons, Anthony Bell, of Fairview, Texas and Allan D. Bell, of Nantucket, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Julia Tullo.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Nutley, New Jersey. A funeral service will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Holey Family Church and burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair, New Jersey.
