Connie Call Foster, 46, gave of herself to others with a smile on her face

Connie Call Foster, of Oak Island, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was 46.

Mrs. Foster was born Oct. 23, 1968, to Jerry and Brenda Call. Mrs. Foster was a 1986 graduate of South Brunswick High School and graduated from Queens College in Charlotte. She worked as an assistant manager for Food Lion in Southport and Oak Island for many years. Connie was a loving wife and mother who always had a smile on her face. She loved cooking and was always giving of herself to others.

Surviving are her husband, Christopher Foster; a son, Zachary Foster; a daughter, Allison Foster; two brothers David Call, of Bolivia and Doug Draper, of Greensboro; a sister, Kim Krone, of Greensboro; and many other family and friends in Greensboro, Charlotte and Brunswick County.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015, with the Rev. David Mammay officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Zach and Allie Education Fund, c/o CresCom Bank, 4945 Southport – Supply Road, Southport, NC 28461.
