Lauren Taylor Arnold, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and formerly of Wilmington, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the age of 26.
She was born March 12, 1989, and raised in Wilmington. Lauren’s parents are Jeff and Valerie Arnold.
Her childhood passion for the art of dance led her to compete nationally along with her sisters, cousin and many friends. She loved the stage and had the most infectious smile. Lauren was a graduate of John T. Hoggard High School, class of 2007 where she enjoyed being a member of the Vikettes Dance Team.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her younger siblings, Kristen, Ashlyn and Clayton; paternal grandmother, Jean D. Arnold; maternal grandmother, Fran O. Davis and husband, Papa George; maternal grandfather, Ray Wagner and wife, Leny; aunts and uncles, Sara and Danny Henderson, Mike Wagner and Janet and Bill Carver; cousins, Justin, Quinn and Megan; and her true love, Evan Lieseke.
Lauren’s philosophy on life was “Don’t judge me because I never judged you. Just love me because I will always love you.”
A celebration of her life and funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Northside Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
