Airlie kicks off concert series Friday is your source for free news and information in the Wilmington area.

Airlie Gardens has unveiled its slate of musical performers for its 2015 summer concert series.

A concert will take place the first and third Fridays of the month from May until September. Along with returning favorites, though, this year’s program will offer several new local acts, including The Midatlantic Band, Boba Funk, and The Other Guys, according to a news release from New Hanover County.

“We love seeing people of all ages enjoying great music in such a beautiful setting,” Airlie Gardens’ Development Manager Janine Powell said. “All of us here look forward to shaking off the winter and welcoming summer in such a fun way.”

The schedule includes returning acts, including L Shape Lot and The Imitations. In addition, guests will have the chance to experience several new bands.

Concerts are held from 6 to 8 p.m.

  • Sept. 4 The Other Guys Covers/Electroacoustic
  • Sept. 18 The Imitations Dance
